About the Ministry

Our Correctional Chaplain Support Ministry is designed to help meet the biblical material and personal spiritual needs of chaplains. Our focus is serving chaplains in jails, prisons, rescue missions, youth detention facilities and leaders in follow-up ministries.

We offer these chaplains FREE Cassette resources which include the Bible, Bible Studies and Bible Messages. Our FREE printed resource is “The Bread of Life,” available in English and Spanish.

We offer over 150 titles (including some in Spanish) in our video lending service for use within correctional and rescue mission facilities and even pay the postage both ways.

Rev. Rich Hines, a former correctional facility chaplain, serves as our "Minister To Chaplains."

We are striving to provide chaplains with reliable, up-to-date information on FREE and low cost resources and provide them with biblical spiritual enrichment opportunities called Chaplain Enrichment Seminars. Our goal is to offer these seminars in various parts of the country. For locations, see our USA map.

Another important service we offer chaplains is personal prayer support. Our administrative office staff meets weekly and prays for the specific needs of chaplains.

Rev. Hines and his wife Barbara, travel throughout the United States, visiting and encouraging chaplains at or near their facilities.

They also exhibit for the ministry at annual conferences sponsored by the American Correctional Association, the American Jail Association, the National Sheriff’s Association, the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and various state chaplaincy training sessions.
