Heartbeat of the Chaplain Support Ministry

In 2007 & 2008, we will host Chaplains spouses and volunteers at more Seminars.

The Correctional Chaplain Support Ministry offers free ministry materials and Biblical, spiritual encouragement to those serving the incarcerated with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Free Bible-based materials, MP3 Audio Bibles, audio cassette Bibles, and tape players are freely offered. Gospel of John booklets and videos are available, both in English and Spanish. In addition, eight cassette albums with the Bible teachings of Dr. Stephen Olford, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Mario DiGangi, and others are offered.

Each year, Aurora has sponsored several regional three-day "Chaplain Enrichment Seminars" in various parts of the country, featuring nationally known speakers such as Dr. Jay Adams, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Stephen Olford (now with the Lord), and Dr. Johnny Miller. By August 2007, there have been 39 in all. Attendees are asked to contribute a modest fee and some are even helped with that according to there need.

We also visit regularly with Chaplains. Often, these visits include One-Day Seminars where teaching from the Word of God will focus on issues related to ministry to criminal offenders. One such seminar is being held September 29, 2007 in Simi Valley, California. See One-Day Seminar Registration Form.

We have also produced a Jail Ministry Training Manual that both jail and prison or juvenile detention center chaplains can request. So far, these manuals are offered for free, but as with all our free material, we will accept any donation chaplains or others offer to defray the cost of their production.

To enhance the correctional Chaplains' and ministry volunteers grasp of the Word of God, we also supply them with good theological study books and messages recorded at our regional Chaplain Enrichment Seminars. These materials serve alongside our monthly "Chaplain's Corner" messages - available at our web site and in print - to encourage and enrich the hearts and minds gospel ministers. With the assistance of people who believe in the ministry to chaplains, Aurora reaches thousands of Chaplains who, in turn, reach countless inmates.
